[Tutorial] How to keep your computer safe

Hello , today i decided to post how to keep your pc and yourself from malwares and scams.
1 - Install antivirus and antispyware programs from a trusted source

2 - Never download anything in response to a warning from a program you didn't install or don't recognize that claims it will protect your PC or offers to remove viruses. It is highly likely to do the opposite.

3 - Get anti-malware programs from a vendor you trust. I Suggest Malwarebytes Link Will Be Included.

4 - Update software regularly , anti-virus , malware programs.

5 - Use strong passwords and keep them secret , u can use password generator.

6 - Keep Your Operating System Up to Date

7 - Be Careful What You Download

8 - Make Sure Your Computer Is With Password. - Why?

Ex. If you are a victim of an RAT - (Remote Acces Trojan) - the owner of RAT won't have full acces on your computer . Make sure u make full scan of your computer every week.

Actually I'm having a problem with my laptop,
my hard drive have an available space of 260gb plus, then suddenly when I returned home from school I saw that the space of my laptop suddenly became 39 gb. can anyone help me fix this problem?

I don't like AVG. It has too many false positives.

what do u mean?? since i used it, my laptop has been lighter compared to when i used others. my friends also used it because of me and they love it. no false positive at all.

I'm also an avast user, very good and runs quietly in the background

also don't install two antivirus programs at the same computer (i know an acquaintance of mine who seems to think that two antivirus programs make his computer safer) they will collide and make your computer unstable and less secure(because antivirus vendors have different definition databases)
